He's not belittling anybody. Cam has, just like us, seen zero evidence of any wrongdoing by JR and he knows him personally and is simply supporting a man he knows well and respects, until there is actual evidence that says otherwise. I don't know anything about you but if you have someone close to you that you look up to and respect and know to have great character and they were accused of this same thing, I guarantee you'd support them and don't even try to say you wouldn't. And allegations don't have to be strong at all to result in settlements. Educate yourself on settling lawsuits before making silly claims like such.

This is not fact. At all. You and I have absolutely no information of the specifics of the situation and for anybody outside the situation to claim that is fact is completely absurd. And even if some of or all of the accusations are true, the ones that have been reported so far are frankly extremely minor and not a big deal at all. Blanketing varying different degrees of action into "sexual harassment" and "racism" as if they're all the same is ridiculous; the world isn't black and white like that, and normal people with common sense don't treat different situations as if they're the exact same and warrant the same response and consequences.

What billionaire owner of a sports team would immediately give up and sell the team he founded based on "allegations?" The team he said he would own until his death. Anyone who thinks these are just allegations is dumb as hell and honestly part of the problem.

At first glance I'm a bit ehhh on the Jerry Richardson comments honestly, but it seems like he was expressing how unpleasant it is right now with uncertainty about future team ownership looming when he's became acclimated here for going on 8 years. It would have been best to bypass that line of questioning altogether but then in all likelihood that would have stirred even more controversy.

Because the NFL doesn't want that black eye and was going to force him out. (they have the power to vote to kick am owner out and force them to sell.) So it was going to happen either way, either really ugly or as quite as can be.

The owners have the power, and Jerry Richardson is one of their own. No way they vote him out if these are just "allegations." Again all of you "allegation" people are part of the problem. The poo happened, all of you need to accept that. Billionaire NFL owners do not buckle to public pressure based on false allegations. Its more likely that its even worse than what has already come out.

Not saying either way. They threatened Jerry Jones with a vote for just being divisive and you don't think they would vote someone out for serious allegations with today's climate?? lmao

He was being divisive within the ranks. Again you're acting on the premise that these aren't allegations. Lets pretend there's a chance the allegations aren't true. There's not a chance in hell in he is forced to sell his team that he founded based on what a few employees say. The pressure is because there's a lot of stink behind the "allegations" and there are also real people who were impacted and Cam's comments selfishly ignores them.

Just because someone raises allegations of you doesn't make them a "victim" that's what due process is for.

And just because a rich person in the public eye doesn't want to go through a civil trial and agrees to a settlement doesn't make them guilty. Now the fact that their were several is concerning but that's for a judge or jury to decide.

Kobe Bryant also settled monetarily with his accuser “rape victim"  and he just got honored by the Los Angeles Lakers and all of NBA royalty how is that any different from Cam that you apparently want to mute.

I don't think the NFL owners would vote someone out for allegations.  Said it before, probably most NFL teams have settled claims for allegations and has employees sign NDAs.  So no, they won't just kick dudes out because it was found out.

Jerry probably simply isn't going to deny them so he is leaving.  If Jerry was going to deny them, NFL owners probably stand with him.

People in here are so caught up on allegations like they know it happened and it had a negative consequence on someones life worse than Jerry getting his legacy tarnished at the end of his life, following his family for how many decades this will?

A guy born in the early 1930s? Saying quirky old man poo about women in tight jeans and yoga pants, don't act like you don't see it either, you see who gets hired in the offices, No excuse to even comment on womens dress and body type, in fact its better to not say anything to anyone. But we have people on here who want Diddy lol who has said way worse, acts way worse toward other people, especially people "below" him.

Jerry isn't for 2017 political correctness. I figured someone would yelp about him sooner than later. Why would Jerry hold on and continue to be investigated and alleged and accused forever more? It won't go away. Once someone sends an allegation your way in the public it will forever hold a stigma regardless of what he actually did.

The problem is it will probably fall into someones hands not for football or business reasons but political and social reasons, leading to the downfall of a football franchise. A game set on violence, speed, power, collisions, injuries. No its not back yard 2 hand touch football, look up NFL highlights, see what type of plays make human beings want to watch. Skillfull catches, people making other people running full speed at them miss, or when 2 people run full speed into each other like a battering ram, or trucking someone over to the ground, big blocks, fights, poo talking. During those moments of fury, there is no political affiliation or social justice, just violence and speed of beating the man in front of you.

Kobe settled and kept playing basketball. He didn't retire, he didn't quit. He stood is ground against the allegations. Jerry is tucking his tail and running and didn't once say these allegations are false or defend himself in any way. Garbage comparison.

Nobody and I mean nobody here wants Diddy to own the panthers. Don't confuse people standing up for Diddy's right to buy the panthers with actually wanting him as the owner.
