Wait you mean a QB can move in the pocket and manipulate it instead of just spinning out to the right or left??

If you’re totally infatuated with big scrambles those little movements don’t do much for you. But those small movements are part of being a good QB.

Well its up to the Rams Defense now.  They have to step up.  Zero points has to be the outcome and a punt.  Then they got to get it in the end zone.  Then all of the pressure is back on the Falcons.  One thing for certain, can anybody doubt that the NFC South is absolutely and clearly the most dominant division in football.  The Falcons, Saints and our Panthers are all very good teams.  Any of them could hoist the Lombardi and I actually expect the NFC Super Bowl participant to be from our division.  Hope its us of course.

Yeap that small movement gives that extra second for a WR to come uncovered.

Falcons winning right now due to controlling the ball and getting lucky with the early Rams miscues—unforced. The controlling of the clock and keeping Rams O off the field, wearing out their D, has been huge. Rams D really just needs to get off the damn field.

Atlanta scores another FG, this game is over.

Oh and for those who wanted us to sign Sammy Watkins this offseason (myself included) Fug that! Dude was a complete no show today.

He’s been open, Goff just doesn’t look his way much.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
