We were lucky to make it to the playoffs... be thankful

Coaching fuged us like it has every single year.  Either Fox or Rivera fugs us.  As an original Panthers fan, I'm just fuging TIRED OF IT.  New owners need to clean house.  Tired of playing not to lose, tired of thinking a punt is a good play.  Bring on the offseason and thank god this shitshow is OVER.

Man we played with a ton of heart to finish out that game. We just didn’t have the talent to win. Weird, but fun season.

Had we gotten Atlanta’s draw, we would be in the nfc championship game. We just don’t match up well with the saints. Our offseason should be dedicated to building an offense to compete with Brees.

All that said, I am damn proud to be a panthers fan. They showed great heart and kept pounding. Clock just ran out on them.

It was a couple of acts of God that we even had a chance at the end.  We did NOTHING for the first half.  The score does not show how outclassed the Panthers were tonight.

Sorry, that's just reality.

Not really.

the panthers scored 3 times like they did and dropped a touchdown.

if Cam is allowed to play it out I bet we score 3 touchdowns on 4 of those scoring drives, and the same in the 2nd half.

they were beatable and I disagree outclassed. It was a good player game except for Funchess dropped the game winning touchdown—- and clay dropped the game winning touchdown. But the clueless will say we were out class?

we waited until late the second half to give Cam the ball and let him play and that’s why 2 touchdowns  so quick.

we weren’t outclassed we were outcoached as usual.

i really wish all the fake fans that are really fans of other teams but jump on the panthers when they are good would just go away.

Being damn proud of being a fan of team right now is an absolute joke, and seeing players smiling while shaking hands at the end of the game shows how much some of them care.  It will be a great off-season since I will not have to watch this team under preform week after week.  I'm sure Ron will bring up missed opportunities and blame everything on not executing the poo game plan.  Thankfully he's under contract for 2 extra years now.

I think that Saints will win the SB and yet for a brief, drunkin’ moment I actually thought we might make the next round.  Oh well, I had a reason to drink and hit my Over for a nice cash.  Most fun I have had with football since the NFCCG, I will take it.

    • We had a QB who could do that and its the last time we went to the Super Bowl and the only time we had an MVP. Once he lost his ability to do that he was out of the league. To filter out insignificant stats I will only look at QBs who have played in 10 or more games this year. There are 28 qualifying QBs. Bryce is 25th in Air Yards per Attempt at 6.4. Only Joe Flacco, Cam Ward, and Dillon Gabriel are worse (6.0, 5.8, 5.1). Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, and CJ Stroud are the median QBs at 7.1. Drake Maye and Sam Darnold lead the league at 8.7. Bryce is 18th in the league for passes that travel 30+ yards at 12. The median is Caleb Williams at 15. The league leader is Matthew Stafford with 26. With passes that travel 40+ yards, Bryce is tied with three others at 21st in the league with 3. Only Jacoby Brissett, Cam Ward, Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel are worse. The median is a three-way tie with Drake Maye, Trevor Lawrence, and Baker Mayfield with 6. The league leader is Sam Darnold with 12. Having the ability to complete passes down the field (not YAC) stretches the defense and makes them account for more ground. It keeps players out of the box and keeps formations in nickel or dime, less line backers for your RBs to worry about. Bryce is why we have 2 losses against the Saints. If he had the outright ability to sling the football down field we beat the easily, but he doesn't. So they crowded the box and our 2 starting caliber RBs with our top ~10 Oline couldn't carry the offense to a win on their own. The limitations of the offense fall squarely on Bryce.
    • Bryce’s deep passes are intermediate passes for other strong armed QBs. I will say that Bryce’s accuracy on his deep passes have improved. Before they would just sail out of bounds. Now the WR actually has a fighting chance on the ball.
    • And Dilfer won a SB, idc. Almost impossible to miss the playoffs when you have that good of a defense
