Joe Thomas is arguably the best left tackle in league history.

The GM who drafted him was fired a year and a half later and hasn't worked in the NFL since 2012.

No unlike any of those you mentioned kiper created a genre. When your the first to do something you tend to get more attention for doing said thing because you have been doing it the longest. The nfl and all of us who follow draft coverage owe a big thank you to The Godfather of draft kiper in my opinion. 

Does he miss on prospects? Sure who doesn’t.. it’s a uncertain field trying to say who will pan out and who won’t.  But for popularizing the draft and making it must see tv kiper deserves to be in the hall of fame in my opinion.
