Watch Will Hernandez YouTube vids at UTEP or in the Senior Bowl, He's an absolute monster. I do think we look for a guy with more position flexibility as Hernandez is All Guard, but a very good one with pro bowl potential. Billy Price G/C, Isaiah Wynn G/T, Frank Ragnow C/G, James Daniels C/G are some flexible O-line I think we should consider if Norwell leaves.

I watched him vs Oklahoma the first game of the Season. Kid is good. He held his own against one of the best teams in the Nation last year.

The Patriots drafted Logan Mankins back in 2004 and only the staunchest Belichick disciples lauded that pick. Most people wondered why you'd 'waste' a first rounder, even the 32nd, on a guard. Mankins made the Pro Bowl seven times and was a beast on that line for a decade. That's what I want out of my first round pick, regardless of position. If that's what Hernandez is, I'd be happy for the Panthers to use the pick on him over a WR, DE or Safety with 'potential.'

CBS has lots of mock opinions. Two other guys have us taking Courtland Sutton or Anthony Miller.

if we draft sutton then why did we get rid of KB? Sutton doesnt get much seperation from college defenders, will be worse in the NFL id imagine

Ask R.J. White. He's the one that mocked Sutton to us. Personally, I'd bet that if we take a WR in the 1st, it won't be somebody who's 6'4". We already got one of those.

I remember reading this article above showing between 1986 to 2010, the best positions that have panned out in the first round are safeties, tight ends, interior linemen, and linebackers. Runningbacks, defensive lineman, and receivers are the riskiest.
