I'm okay with someone stealing that carbon fiber/aluminum weapon he straps to his arm and uses on the field to gain an advantage.

I doubt anything was stolen that he can't replace with his pocket change. If any football memorabilia was taken then the thieves are idiots. Can't work up much sympathy for him.

The way the police were talking about it, it sounds like thats exactly what was stolen. Why else would they say it's to their advantage not to release the nature of the items stolen?
