Explain why we had 15 yds of offense int the first quarter and than set a Super Bowl record with most yards in a Quarter after half time?

I'll tell you why, they had ever play that we walked through.  It wasn't until Dan Henning changed the game plan after halftime.

If you think they flat out just beat us you are blind to the facts.

Their first SB against the Greatest Show On Turf.  They shut them down for most of the game.  Coincidence, I THINK NOT!!!!!

Anyone who thinks they didn't cheat IS A MORON....

Good God look at the facts.  Hard to argue when you make adjustments.  Something Shula never could do.

how many yards did the Pats have in the 1st quarter?

Delhomme also had zero completions in the 1st quarter. Lets not act like a very good patriots defensive was going up against the GOAT.

Well, if you can act like there's never been any evidence that the Patriots cheated, then I suppose the rest of us rest of us can act like Delhomme is the greatest quarterback ever.

Both of those notions are equally real.

Were you are actually trying to respond to that post or did you just write something random?

Regardless, there has been loads of evidence that the Patriots cheat on a pretty regular basis. In fact, no other team in the league has had as many cheating scandals as they have in the past several years. Spygate, Deflategate, electronic interference, etc.

I won't be surprised if someday someone blows the lid off and reveals everything they've done. I suspect what we already know will just be the tip of the iceberg.

Not arguing that they probably had videotape on signals and knew many of the plays that were being called in the Eagles, Rams and Panthers SBs but again, how was that cheating? Shady?...yes but it was 100% legal,  and other teams were doing it. There were no rules against it until the memo was sent out in 2006.  The Pats got in trouble for violating that rule after it was sent out although they argued that they were still within the written rule. Did they cheat, I would say yes but not until after 2006.

Cheatriots record in Super Bowls after spygate is 2-3.  Just sayin.  It took a really stupid play call and equally miraculous interception by Malcom Butler, and an all time collapse by the Falcons to keep them from being 0-5 in those games.

If you want to talk about miraculous plays to win games, what about the David Tyree helmet catch and Mario Mannigham catch to beat them in 2 of those loses? Both of those games they lead almost the whole game and not to mention they went 16-0.

I don't know why you are all making me argue in defense of the Patriots. I'm done, need a shower to wash off this filth.

Spygate is overblown. It was a matter of two egos clashing because the Pats filmed peoplpes signals too close to the field (filming signals isn't illegal and still isn't). Deflategate was bullshit and the Clots would've lost anyway. A poo load of teams have baseless electronic interference accusations.

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Vikings bring back a familiar face Vikings get: WR Adam Thielen Panthers get: 2026 sixth-round pick, 2027 seventh-round pick A reunion between Thielen and his former team seems too easy. The Vikings are struggling with injuries at wide receiver and a potential Jordan Addison suspension. The Panthers want to see what they have with their younger wideouts, and Hunter Renfrow's emergence in camp as a potential fourth or fifth option could squeeze a roster spot for Thielen, who doesn't play special teams. The problem is Thielen's $6.25 million base salary. The Vikings obviously would prefer the Panthers cut the 34-year-old and pick him up for free, but Carolina already paid Thielen a $1.5 million roster bonus earlier in the offseason, suggesting it expected to have him. His salary isn't yet guaranteed, but it will become so if he's on the roster in Week 1, leaving the Panthers until then to make a decision. If he does get released, he isn't likely to get anything close to $6.25 million from another team, so he also is facing some uncertainty. All sides involved probably would need to give a bit to make a mutually advantageous deal work. The Panthers would eat $1.5 million of Thielen's contract, getting two of the three picks the Vikings got from the Jets in the Harrison Phillips trade in return. Thielen would take a $1 million pay cut in return for having the remaining $3.8 million guaranteed. The Vikings cleared out almost exactly that much when they made the Phillips trade, allowing them to absorb what's left of Thielen's contract as part of the deal. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46053274/nfl-preseason-trades-2025-team-offers-players-draft-picks-contracts
    • From JoeBucsFan. Teams don't usually waste 2nd round picks like that. Kind of sounds like they think he just doesn't belong in the NFL.
