I made Hoover crack up once.

He was shaking hands after a camp practice and I asked him who the ugliest offensive lineman was.

He was three people down from me and still laughing.

He was three people down from me and still laughing.

Brad was in my frat at WCU.  Most normal guy you could ever know, except for his calves.  Brad had calves like Tom Platz.

My brother knows him better than me as they are closer in age.

 

I had the same type of exchange with Luke in 2013 at Wofford.  He intercepted Cam during practice and when he was signing the back of my Sweet Frog card I asked him if he would get to ride Cam's hover board tomorrow because of it, he genuinely cracked up for the next 10 seconds.

Good stuff.  Loved Hoover.  Hated when he was let go.

Also hated that the website took down the pie in the face video.  That clip should have stood forever.

I interviewed him once. GREAT guy. We talked for a good hour and a half or so about damn near everything. Of all the guys I interviewed, he and former BYU QB Jon Beck stick out the most. Just awesome guys. Beck actually called me back out of the blue months later to talk about trout fishing.

      Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.

      I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you.       I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
