Could Equanimeous St. Brown be Norv's Vincent Jackson?

Ones a rookie that got hurt and one just got his chance and scored 2 touch downs and a kick return td and looked like the best wr since smitty then he got hurt . So your hypothesis is wrong sir and I'll accept your apology for your ignorance pal.

good defensive line is the key to a Super Bowl just look at philly . It starts with the big men up front that can stop the run and rush the passer . We don't need diva receivers or dbs we need pass rushers . But you must be a Hurney fan with your receiver love while It is our least biggest need .

You unknowingly just argued against yourself. The biggest moves Philly made this past offseason was rebuilding their WR corps. Hurney was historically an awful WR drafter. We led the league in sacks last season but couldn't win a playoff game in large part because we were playing a banged up Funchess and a bunch of practice squaders at WR and Brees torched our porous secondary.

Did you just start trying to watch football this week?

I seriously doubt he leaves the Rams now. They have cap to sign him.

I just don't understand why they'd want to re-sign him or why he'd want to re-sign there. He isn't a good fit in their offense and Goff doesn't have the downfield passing ability to properly utilize his best asset which is his deep speed. It's just a bad fit. The Rams should just own that it wasn't a good trade for them and resist the urge of throwing good money after bad.

A week ago, I was saying that we could add an elite WR (veteran) and we would be OK--that is assuming that Samuels would be OK--and Byrd is not one you want to count on to win games.

So I am in agreement now after listening to some compelling arguments that a draft pick might also be needed--if you want to give Cam weapons, give him a veteran to replace KB and a rookie.  Imagine a top 100-pick WR, Sammy Watkins, Funchess, Samuel, and Byrd--with a new TE and CMC motioning into a pass route.

However, in 12 months, we will lose 3 of our 5 OL--4 if Williams leaves.  We need a LG and our future C.  Free agency is not that great.

We need a TE behind 33-year old GO.

Defensively, we need a DE, DT, CB, and 2 safeties.  Marty better get his ass to work

Exactly.  He was below average there.  He has to see the opportunity to be a #1 and come home appealing.

I didn’t like him at first because he’s built like a twig. But I'd be lying if I said he hasn’t grown on me. Would definitely like him in the 3rd. Hell, at this point I wouldn’t mind drafting 2 WRs. A burner and someone like St. Brown. Who knows if we’re going to be able to sign Funchess or Byrd after this season.

Obviously the WRs have me hyped today. Tomorrow my feelings may change.

Moss was built like that too. He looked like one good salad hit would probably break him in half.

Frankly, I think drafting WR early is stupid.  Everyone is writing off Samuel?  Byrd?  All we need to do is replace Sheperd with a quality veteran.

Funchess, a good free agent, Samuel, Byrd, and another solid player (developmental OK) is all we need.  Draft a top WR, and you have Funchess + three unproven players.

I saw signs of Samuel and Byrd looking like the slot is covered.  A free agent X WR is what we need, imo.

Yea. I think Byrd and Samuel are going to be as good as Moore or anyone we draft. Would love to see more of Byrd, every time he gets a chance he shines.

We can't lose Williams. IMO, that's a big part of the reason why we can't re-sign Norwell. We've been a dumpster fire at OT for the majority of Cam's career. Now we finally have a young guy who looks like a legit high level OT. Absolutely HAVE to keep him. I think we have to figure it out with Moton. Do we think he can play LT? If not, just go ahead and kick him inside to LG and be done with it.

Three of five on the line?

Norwell and Ryan Kalil I get. Is Matt Kalil the third?

By the way, I'd like to see what Norv Turner could do with Taylor Gabriel.

I have a reason why he would want to stay there.
