I'll take it, isn't he fast?

4.42 in 2012 combine.  So I guess?

Vikings offense didn't exactly set the world on fire and we are signing their cast offs.  All because of familiarity with Norv.  It's stupid.

He is fast which is what we need. He is an instant upgrade over Sheppard. He may not even make the team but I believe he has a good chance and could end up being a good player for us.

I know his stats aren’t great but he never had a good q.b until last year and he missed 8 games last year and was buried behind Adam Thielen and Diggs who are good WR. He could put up good numbers with the right Qb and some playing time.

Really like the signing as a guy with potential type of deal.

I won't write up on him bc Shepard PTSD, but fwiw I like it.

I like it too, but not because of his potential per se, but because I already pretty much know what he brings to the table without having to blow him up. He doesn't have Samuel's upside because he's simply not as dynamic, but as a JAG receiver who has a little bit better than average potential, I'll take him over Shepard any day. He's not a legit starter though, but he is good depth.

Yeah why can't we sign te like Ebron an create mismatches. Sign this guy and can't spend on more of what we need. Terrible!!!!

Camp body. Seems like what we did last year when we signed Charles Johnson the WR and Tiquan Underwood a couple years ago. Guys that have playing experience, but aren't signed on as roster locks. First impression is that he doesn't make the team.

Tiquan Underwood was signed only because he had awesome hair.  That's the only reason.

Yay.  An average receiver.  So much for the NUMBER 1 PRIORITY IS TO GIVE CAM WEAPONS.

most years we end up starting below average WRs at various points because our depth chart was poop.  He is more proven and better as an average WR than many guys we have trotted out there.  Rather him be out there than Bersin or Sheppard

I don't disagree with the fact that he's better than the poo we've had out there before.  But that doesn't mean it's a good signing.

It means we are still trying to fix the offense with diamonds in the rough instead of real weapons.  And Cam get's blamed when it fails.

depth matters just as much as finding the studs to lean on.   Does Cam need better weapons?  Yes.  But he also needs better depth too.  Our entire WR corp needs rebuilding pretty much.  That includes the depth and role players who have LONG been too weak.

Often the problem with Carolina's roster isn't the lack of studs but how weak we are at depth with our roleplayers.  We end up starting and playing guys that legitimately should be on a bad practice squad.
