I was just thinking back to an earlier thread where someone suggested JR should refuse to sell the team to spite the league...well, be careful what you wish for.  Mexico City is the only market I can think of that's realistically more lucrative than the Panthers that doesn't currently have a team. 

Besides, I don't go to games anyway because of our weak-ass fan experience.

One or two folks on here have said the believe Richardson is going to play chicken with the league and basically force them to vote on him.  Don't know if that's true (certainly hope not) but it's a possibility. Sad thing there is that the league taking over the sale potentially screws Ben Navarro in favor of David Tepper.

 

You would have to think Richardson is smart enough to avoid this scenario...I mean it could potentially cost him $3 to $4 million if this were to happen.

Well honestly, if Richardson were smarter and/or used better judgment, he probably wouldn't be in this position.

Two things I can think of:

The Reasonable Answer: More money for his children, grandchildren, etc

The Spiteful Answer: "F--k you, NFL! After everything I did for you guys, you should have been willing to cover for me!"

Anyone see the latest S.I bombshell? The accusations made were confirmed by handwritten notes he made that the accuser saved. This sale needs to happen ASAP. Plus his statue should be removed.
