If the panthers go into a dome I will disown this team. I’d rather have the shield at midfield for life than ever play in a dome. The panthers have always kicked ass on grass and sucked in domes.

why on earth do people care about this so much? i'll never understand

This could be the nail in the coffin for me.  I honestly don’t see this guy as a successful owner at least in the W/L column and that’s all I care about.   This will be another round just like the last 20+ years

you don't see him as a successful owner because of what exactly? he's been very successful at his real job.

FYI: the reason so many of you sweetened on Ben Navarro over the past 6 weeks is because he wanted you to. He hired a PR firm to help sell people just like you on his bid and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Those flowery stories about how great of a guy were pitched by that firm. He's a billionaire debt collector FFS, he's hardly the mix of Dean Smith and Dale Earnhardt like people were making him out to be.

Plenty of people were fans of Navarro well before any of the PR stuff started. Heck, some people jumped on that bandwagon the moment he was announced.

There are definitely reasons to prefer Navarro. Doesn't necessarily mean that people hate Tepper.

So was JR and that didn’t translate into much.  I think the guy will be a control freak and that’s not good.

Let the guy actually own the team before you start crucifying him or stroking him off, on how bad or great he will be

Just be happy JR and is leg shaving fetish is gone.

As for a Dome I don’t give a F**ck really, the weather is always the same on my couch.

Got me.

I'm not a fan of domes, but I wouldn't switch team loyalties just because we got one.

domes are awesome aesthetically and they also help substantially with home field advantage. much easier to cultivate noise.

also domes and grass are not mutually exclusive

    • I know I’m grasping at straws but I believe this is our ‘get right week’.   Fug them dirty birds, panthers eat this weekend. Lesgo.
    • I’m guessing Canales will want to try and establish the run early. Atlanta knows that if they stop our run game, Bryce and these WRs aren’t going to win the game on their own so they’ll be keying on the run and likely have the personnel and scheme to be successful. The run game won’t work early. Atlanta will get out to a 10-0 or 10-3 lead.  Canales will then go back to the pass game with Bryce dropping back 3/4 of all plays. In that scenario we lose the turnover battle. -2 is my guess.  Past is prologue with this team.  Atlanta will get their run game going and can just as easily beat us through the air if not. Sorry, but Carolina is not competent enough to beat a good Falcons team.  We trail throughout the entire game.   Atlanta    10   7   7   3   27 Carolina   3   6   7   3   19
    • Yeah, I don't think it would. Might want to review the tape on the past two preseasons with him. The game I saw there was a massive gulf between him and Kyle Allen. Hence why he got cut.
