I’ll be happy when the supplemental draft is over,  just so I don’t have to see anymore threads about it on the huddle. The one poster here made a pointless thread every time a kid declared.

And you found it necessary to go into each one and share your opinion about it being a waste of time. Nobody needs to be a dick 100% of the time

Looks like another guy is headed to New York, but the other team.

I’m guessing Alexander has some red flags not widely known. Hard to believe no one took a chance on his frame for a 6-7th. I do remember a poster(VT grad) coming on here and saying AA had many more issues than we knew about.

EDIT: Missed the AA tweet about going in 6th. Still low but makes a little more sense.

Would you bring in Ugwoegbu? Wouldn't hurt for the competition?

Do we even have an open roster spot? I'm thinking that we're good at LB for now. There hopefully will be some nice competition between Norris, Carter, and Smith.

I would think that there would be a player we could drop to bring him in.

Who are you dropping for a 6’0 205 lb. LB who ran a 4.97 at his pro day? If we have a bigger long shot than this, that’s sad.

Talked to my buddy with the Giants. He said he had to talk ownership into drafting Beal. He knows if it doesn't work out, his job is on the line. When I congratulated him on the pick and said he'd be a top 3 DB on the Panthers, he said, "Don't count out the LSU corner they drafted, he has a real chance." When I asked about Gaulden, he said, "He's not a corner and not a safety, but an excellent nickel. Not sure if he's better than Elder, but cheaper than Captain. My guess is they try to trade/release Munnerlyn once they figure if the young guys can play." In a previous conversation he said, "We were going to take him with the second pick in the 4th round."

Good stuff.
