Ultimately, it is a HUGE flaw.  The worst.  But, all that counts at the end of the day is wins and losses.  He has a clean slate with a new owner who hasn't enured this flaw for his entire tenure as coach.  And if we win the games, no matter how ugly, I think Tepper is okay with him.  Then again, iirc, the rumor was he was among the minority owners in Pitt that was pushing to have Tomlin canned last season, so who knows how tolerant he'll be to Ron's conservative, playing-not-to-lose bullshit.

It works vs Dak Prescotts and just barely. We know what happens vs the Drew Brees types in the playoffs.

I’m curious why everyone thinks Corey Robinson was game ready.... he just joined our team a week ago...

I can assure you he will be working with the 1’s this week and start to get acquainted with our system.

they put Amini in there Bc he was the most ready player as far as play calls and offensive playbook awareness. Not defending amini, he is bad but I’d rather him in there knowing the play rather than another player who doesn’t have a grip on the playbook and could miss assignments

We had the ball with 2:45 at the end of the 1st half.

Ron chose to run the ball twice, get 10 yards using that full :45 seconds and run the clock down to the 2:00 warning.

Then, at the end, for some reason we didn't have enough time to try for a touchdown!  How puzzling!  WHATEVER COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO CAUSE SUCH A THING???!?!?!

The OC executes the HC's philosophy.

Period.

That held for Shula, the same thing holds for Turner.
