What’s funny is that when we where in the process of hiring Norv everyone including the majority of this forum thought that it was a bad idea, but now apparently it’s a sin to criticize him. The fact is if you told me Shula called that game Sunday  I wouldn’t have noticed a difference. I’m hoping it was just week 1 rust and jitters

And who gives a fug if Cam completes 65% of his passes, I would rather him complete 59% and put up 30 points a game like he did in 2015.

The completion percentage is the stat we heard about all offseason and a focus on how Norv would make Cam a more consistent passer, so yea its valid in this discussion. And every team in the league would like to score 30 points a game, at the end of the day a win is a win. It's not like we didnt leave points on the field CMC fumbled at the goaline, Cam or Ron decided to play conservative and attempt field-goal at the end of the half when there was enough time to take a shot in the end zone.

It was the first game of the season against a good defense,  not worried about this offense, Atlanta with all there weapons scored 12 points and lost, the Steelers with all their receivers and Big Ben tied the winless Browns. The NFL each week is about matchups, Dallas has a great pass rush and solid linebacker and secondary play on each level of the defense so the Panthers took what they gave them. Have no doubt Norv and Cam combination will produce on offense this season.
