London fans meet-up this weekend

This weekend we're organizing a meet-up in London for the game. We've got Panthers fans coming in from Germany, Austria, Ireland, Scotland, and Switzerland (and possibly France). I'm headed over on Thursday. I know there are several UK Huddlers so I wanted to share the event page link in case you guys wanted to come watch the game with us. We've secured a private bar area at the Hippodrome. We're also headed out to Flight Club Saturday night for some fun. We've also got Efe on the pod this week to talk a little about international fans.

Is there a Facebook group for UK fan meet-ups? Can't make this one though, as the wife is due to give birth any day now.

No, but we are hoping that’s one of the results of this weekend. There is, however, a small group that meets at the Hippodrome for the games each week. There are 10-12 people, so it’s a start.

Congrats and good luck to you all with the delivery.

This sounds fantastic!

I live in London but I’m working on Saturday but would love to come along to the hippodrome on Sunday for the game if that is okay?

Yeah, for sure. We'll be in the bar area downstairs in the basement. We have all the TVs and the sound for the Panthers. Come and join us....

If we ever play in Wembly, I’ll be there

I am waiting for the day.

I think JR had a major beef with us playing there.  We are only one of a handful of teams that have never played there.    I work in the Middle East and would love to represent in the UK for one of our games.  Would be too cool.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
