News on two former Panthers

One has a job. The other apparently doesn't want one.

The Texans have signed defensive end Daeshon Hall to their roster. Hall had been on the 49ers practice squad. This move brings him back to Texas, where he grew up and went to college.

Meanwhile, our old friend Matt Moore was contacted by the 49ers and the Titans about working out. He reportedly declined both offers. Speculation is that he's decided to retire, although it's possible he just didn't want to play for either of those teams.

Matt Moore would be a good signing for the 49ers. But good on his part if he wants to retire. He’s had a good career in the NFL.

He's actually pretty good when he's healthy, better than I thought he was gonna be.

Contrary to popular belief, Belichick isn't infallible.

A lot of his failures come because he believes he can turn any player into an All-Pro.

He’s had a bunch of misses in the last few years. Their defense this year is a disaster and just flat out lacks talent.
