we will soon be making changes to our policy as far as other web pages and their content in our forums. We do realize there are other sites out there that provide good information but want to keep it fair for everyone. We have decided to implement a carolina huddle network, a group of sites that are approved to post their content and links here.

So...

If you have a blog, website, whatever that you would like to post about in this forum to help drive your traffic, please email [email protected]

thank you god !!!!!!!!!!!

I remember when this place acted like it was the best Panthers fan site out there, and couldn't care less if you posted links to other sites. After all, it made sense to post links to all original content on the Huddle, because it was the best.

Not any more though, apparently. When did management decide it was a threat? Doesn't matter, I guess, but it's still a little sad.

This site has always had the same policy since its inception, and you are angry now that it actually applies to you as well.

Get over it.

Your memory is not accurate.

When the official message board went down there were a ton of fan-managed sites that popped up. Zod did everyone a favor by instituting a policy that discouraged piggy-back posts. I can't tell you how many "web-masters" signed up here just to post links to their sites. That only dilutes the message board activity for the Panthers.

Now Jeremy is changing his policy and accepting links, but instead of submitting your site you take more cheap shots?

Instead of running off and complaining about the Huddle on message boards with 5-7 regular posters why not stay here and try to make it better? The snide comments are getting really old.

I think it's funny that Cyber and I had this same discussion several weeks ago via PM and I do believe that Pryd did as well... You obviously don't get the point very well, Cyber. You're upset you can't link to your blog, we get it. Zod has made it an option to join the network, and there you go... But, no, more pantywadding. Come on dude. Step off your pretentious high horse.

in a joking fashion i have tried to "promote" some side ventures.

I know alot of tricks for click backs and google ad's to show up at the front of the line when someone types in various words.

out of respect to the policies i did NOT do that. Its only fair.

We gotta play the cards we are dealt

    • Doubling tripling and quadrupling down on this subject in defense of the pick is reminiscent of a certain mindset that has overtaken the political world. This conversation will become less contentious and dragged out to the point of becoming a dead beaten horse if rational minds can simply agree that we made a mistake missed on a potential franchise center and we will learn from it. All this coping is unnecessary.
    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle. Also, “flashed his talent” isn’t 9 carries for 22 yards. His one reception for 18 yards isn’t a flash with 11 other touches for 27 yards. He hasn’t proven anything. We have no idea if he’ll contribute in 2026.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
