Please Help a commissioner!

I have been called out for having a hidden motive as a commissioner after this trade was vetoed by the league. The player below is a rookie and may not fully understand the game yet.

 

Here is the rookie's team:

QB: Brees/Russel Wilson

RB: Hunt/Henry/

WR: Kupp/Watkins/Woods/Gordon/Cobb/Funches

TE: Seals Jones/Engram

D: Chargers

K: Santos.

Would you veto this trade? If so , which side is better. 

This team was going to receive Alfred Morris and Nyhiem hines and would send Cooper Kupp and Josh Gordon.

This is a redraft .5 ppr.

I don't know that I would veto the trade but it seems like a terrible idea for the team receiving Morris and Hines

Lopsided trade but no reason to veto unless it's collusion or unless your league specifically uses vetos for unbalanced trades and to save an owner from themselves.

Sounds like it's an unbalanced trade and the league saved the rookie from themselves. Cupp/Gordon is clearly the better side of that deal.

my personal belief, is you don't veto trades unless there is believed to be collusion. 

Every trade doesn't have to be even.  Was the Bears/Raiders trade even for Mack? I don't think so. 

Does the rookie suck at fantasy? Probably.  Are the ones vetoing it mad that he suckered the rookie into a bad deal? Probably.  But so what? I think that is fair game.  No different than people benefiting most likely in the draft that drafted right after him as well.

If you are the team giving Morris and Hines and gaining Kupp and Gordon, I'd call your butt out too.

In one of my 12 man ppr leagues a guy in fourth place traded McCaffrey keryon Johnson and Jon brown to the tenth place guy for ezquiel Elliot mike Evans and cam newton .. I’m all for trades but that is a insanely lopsided trade.. a qb1 rb1 and wr1 for a rb1 and two borderline flex players.. some how a couple people tried to argue that was a even trade I was honestly kinda shocked.
