What record will it take you to want Rivera fired

It should have been after the Viking game debacle 2 years ago.  Tepper needs his own guy next year.  

DJ had a bad start but the players stayed with it...playcalling was absolutely awful.

If we miss the playoffs, I think Tepper will (and should) push the reset button. I don't think Hurney, Rivera, and crew can afford to miss the playoffs. You can't tell me that Tepper hasn't been planning to own an NFL team for years. He probably has a wishlist of guys ready to go.

I think Tepper will give him another chance even if this season is a total bust. But  Rivera should defintely be on the hot seat if we have a losing season this year and we start out badly next season.

He has never shown the ability to have the coaching staff and players "ready" for a game.  We have a history of playing to the level of the competition.  How many times do we play a team that is imploding and they look like SB team against us?  How many times have we played a backup QB and they look like Drew Breeze against us?  How many times do we come out flat and it takes to the 4th qtr before we show life?  How many times must we promote an under experienced guy to be a coordinator because he is unwilling to pass up a friend?  All he has done here is recycle Chargers players and coaches.  Eric Washington should never have been hired as DC - and Rivera should put his foot down about crappy play calling 2 weeks in a row - but he won't....and thats why he sucks as a HC.

Just think how bad it turned out, when you have a 6’5” QB the size of a LBer and it’s 4 and 1/2 all he had to do was fall forward and first down. You can’t win games playing super conservative anymore look at what Washington did TWICE
