I posted an article in another thread yesterday that went through systems of each team and did a quick breakdown and play example of each.

most teams run hybrid systems with a lot of college concepts in them right now.

so in a sense,.. there are no pure “pro” systems in that sense anymore.

pro systems themselves are ever evolving and changing.

i think it’s a more correct criticism to ask why CJ Anderson sits the bench, why Samuel isn’t getting more opportunities after his dazzling touchdown, where is the vertical attack, and a host of others?

lots of questions for Norv— and maybe Cam has the yips and we are trying to mask by keeping short and intermediate throws,..

or maybe Norv cut them off for awhile to force Cam to throw short and intermediate for awhile,..

or maybe Norv caught the dumbass disease from Ron,.. it’s very contagious,..

I was referring more to the run game with the QB snapping from center and running ISO, Traps, inside zone , outside zone, power . etc that sets up PA on a consistent basis.

One of the reason Redskins were able to dominate the front 7 was them continuously running PA after a run play.

Cam came out in the 2nd half when the Panther's and Rivera were in desperate "SAVE ME CAM!" mode (yet again) and completed 17 of his first 20 passes and got Carolina back in the game to the point where we had a chance to win.

I guess his 10 foot tall receivers were on the field for him in the 2nd half, right?

And then choked and threw 3 passes to some Redskin fans in the upper deck

I guess Bellichek, McCarthy, Reich, o'Brien, Carroll, Tomlin, and we can name a few more needed their QB to save their ass too....

Dude that dumb logic. It's the QBs job to take over a game and deliver. A good coach leaves it to their QB to deliver. That's trust.

    • Yeah it really shouldn't have taken until week 11 and for the saints game to be so awful for him to have a really good game. I guess it's possible that Dave was calling plays for him to not fug up weeks 3-10 after how bad the turnovers were in weeks 1-2 then after the saints game the coaches realized we cannot consistently win that way. I think the shitty numbers are on both Dave and Bryce. Dave seems to be like Ron where he has to learn the same lesson several times before he implements change but at least he does eventually learn. I do hope going forward we game plan for an opponent more vs saying this is what we do. The niners pass rush has been non existent so maybe another big day for Bryce on Monday but that kind of game plan will get him absolutely murdered against the rams. You have to play into your opponents weakness vs trying to will the game based on your strengths. That's what good coaches do imo
    • If Bryce shows up and actually does something worthy of the #1 pick then my opinion on him might change. But if he craps the bed, walks into 4th quarter with less than a 100yards total. Then I’m done with him. This is his moment and he better not F it up. Because if so? I’m done. No matter what he does later on.
    • We kept saying "Don't say it!" Then Mike brought it up.
