You guys honestly can’t see he’s laboring with throws over 10 yards?

What specifically are you suggesting? The strength isnt there? It didn't heal properly? He's actually possibly playing in pain?

If the Panthers are hiding an injury the league will fine us big time.

Yeah. I’m suggesting that Cam is feeling the ramifications of shoulder surgery this offseason.

I’m not sure about playing through pain but that could be as well. Cam is a tough son of a bitch so I doubt we will ever know that.

With all this said, it doesn’t help that his receivers continue to drop balls.

Cam shoulders absolute non of that blame. Excuses you will hear.  OL, Coaching, WR’s, OC, DC, White RB.  Things you want hear poor footwork, poor pre snap read of defense, has trouble calling plays per Cam Greg sometimes has to help him call plays in the Huddle.  Poor vision after the snap. Poor accuracy.  Everyone blames the defense but they have been in the field the entire first half and has given up 10 points

Ignore list you go.

You and your fellow storefront members don't deserve Cam Newton

People need to stop counting their chickens before they hatch.  Haha!  Shoot, all kinds of thoughts go through your mind as the game goes on.  A thought crossed my mind wondering if Cam's throwing motion changed, seemed like his motion was strenuous.  I didn't make a thread about it because I had no real evidence for one, and more importantly, the game was still playing.  Some of y'all need to show restraint.

Ok answer this question honestly and I will take you seriously but I doubt it.  If Cam was capable of playing that way the entire game why didn’t he??

Its never this simple. On a particular play he could be looking for a specific look or route to open up but his LG gets beat and he has to get rid of it early. Maybe a receiver didn't cut properly or waited too long to cut. Maybe one route the corner guesses right and sticks to the WR. Maybe the WR doesn't get open. Maybe Cam makes a poor read. Maybe as the game went on the Eagles dline was getting gassed. Maybe late in the game we stayed no huddle once Fletcher Cox went to the sideline. Maybe the wind impacted throws on certain drives. Maybe it was bad play calling. Maybe Cam didn't trust a route opening up. Maybe Cam couldn't get a proper grip on a ball on a single play.

There are so many things that go into the success or failure of a play it isn't always one thing that throws it off or makes it work. No player or coach is going out there trying to fail. They all want to win or get paid and playing poorly only causes you to lose and not get a new contract or big contract down the road. We have new coordinators, young WRs and a makeshift offensive line. We are trying things and seeing if they work. You guys have to give this stuff time. Even through Cam's MVP year he didn't light up every defense the entire year. That doesn't mean he wasn't capable of doing it every game.

    • Most EVs are in the 90+ e-MPG meaning some measurement house somewhere compares the EV to a similar ICE model and works out how much is costs to charge (on average) versus fill up as a point of comparison. Talking long term, in the hundreds of thousands of miles?  No clue.  Some early signs are that EV batteries maintain 80% charge over 400k miles.  So there's that.   The challenge and charm of an ICE vehicle is being able to park it under a tree, get your jack stands out and tinker with your engine.  There's just not that same level of complexity in an EV.  I saw someone estimate there are 200 or so moving parts in an EV, and 2000 in an ICE vehicle.  I'm not a part counter so I can't really speak to that. I think that the EV is more the future than any type of combustion engine.  Those will still be around in specific purposes, but for most people - an EV will be the superior option in terms of efficiency.  I say that as someone who loves stupid horsepower numbers out of turbo 4 bangers and inline 6s...  I am one of those tinkers when I can be. A bigger issue for EVs is going to be the ownership versus lease.  Right now, there are INSANE leases on EVs, which is great, but what do you have at the end of that lease?  Nada, maybe some equity if you're lucky.  Where as I'm almost done paying for my car, and plan to keep it until the wheels fall off (or my son wrecks it when he starts to drive).  Will EV makers do the smartphone thing and build in planned obsolesce?  Stop updating software?  I love the tech in EVs, and I think getting more cars and trucks off the road is a good thing.  But I am still just a little concerned.  Capitalism has gotten far too extractive.
