Hornets Gameday Thread

Shocker

Man, the calls at the end of this game.  Maddening.

WTF!  Philly coach ran out on the floor!  Dammit!  You have to be kidding.

The mother fuggin coach is out on the floor!  Haha, no call...none.  The Hornets are running a trap, 1 second from a ten second count and the Philly coach is HALF WAY on the court and gets a timeout?  What!

The Hornets are so close...keep this squad together there is something here.  Just let the young guys mature...we will be good in time.  Amazing game and comeback!

I don’t give a shet who is healthy or not...Kemba and Monk are the backcourt.  Let Monk get there because he will.  I personally like Bridges on the floor as well.  The other positions are up for grabs.  Love Bridges potential as a defender.  Bacon is a keeper IMO as well.  A good big or scorer at PF or SF would help in this next draft.

Eventually get Batum, Frank, Biz, Marvin off the books and we could really be something,  will take time.

Big game today against Detroit. They are going to be one of the teams we are competing with for those last couple of playoff spots.

Nice win today by da bees.  Bridges is starting to look damn good...all the young guys are for that matter.

    • yeah, now it's going to get awkward.  The team circles pay attention to all this stuff.  All the wives and girlfriends see the posts.  They all talk like everyone.  Football is just a normal world outside of the fact they play a game for lots of money.  Gossip travels. They know the Theilen's want out at this point.  Carolina is now the disappointed failed trade location.    So now AT takes sort of an inhouse hit in Carolina IMO
    • Ummm... The dude looked like he was about 180 pounds soaking wet with us (I don't care what his listed weight was/is) - he would have been destroyed in the run game even more than our current and past crappy ILBs. The problem is we primarily play 3-4 or nickel/dime - there is little room on the field for him because he isnt an edge LB blitzer and he can't cover for crap. The only thing he can do kind of well is be an in-the-box safety that can try and beat blockers to the spot because of his athleticism. Washington was able to make him work last year because they used him solely as an in-the-box safety and almost exclusively ran a single high FS. The funny thing is they had good yards/game stats against the pass despite most of their secondary having embarrassingly low PFF grades. Washington was also terrible against the run, which might explain why they gave up so few yards passing.
    • Just get the deal done. We've teased it so much that the Thielen's expect it. Now we run the risk of our veteran WR locker room presence becoming disgruntled. Just take what we can get, make him happy, and get future assets while freeing up snaps for guys who will be here beyond this season.
