Sad our million(s) dollar investment isn't even in the top 5 of our receivers.  God that money we wasted on T. Smith could have been used elsewhere.

Actually it couldn't.  Cutting him would have been a wash against the cap.  Cutting him this offseason gives us five million, and for five million in the NFL you get players like Kevin White, John Brown or Ryan Grant.  Not exactly luminaries.

No, he's not great.  He's a warm body.  The problem we have had with Torrey is that instead of treating him like a warm body, our coaching staff tried to push him into the starting lineup.  If used as a backup, he's "fine", and aside from spending another draft pick at the position, likely to be one of the cheaper options to fill a roster spot.

Right, He was a security blanket in case Moore or Samuel didn't get up to speed soon enough, and a smart veteran on a  young team. The problem is, we allowed him to keep them off the field!

BTW, Wright has impressed the hell out of me this season considering I had low expectations for him contributing. he really has stepped into that "Cotchery" role very well, and seems to be a good safety net on the handful of touches he's gotten.
