He's looked ok in Oakland, still see tons of potential in him.

Gaulden has potential too. He's a smart and fast player. He wasn't drafted to start this year but could definitely be ready next year.

I agree, the reason we skipped both Harrison and Key was likely due to off the field character concerns. I really hope Gaulden can make the transition.

I know some will immediately want to sign him because they remember how good he used to be. Just remember that doesn't mean he's still that good now.

Me too and when he kept dropping I thought for sure we would grab him. Or you know any of other safeties.

A few points I would like to make:

1. Gaulden is off limits.  He was developmental when we drafted him--a project who would be learning this year--get off his juicy ass (since that phrasing is apparently OK now).

2.  20/20 hindsight.  Do you realize how easy it is to look back on any draft and find a few players you could have drafted that are better than who you drafted? 

3.  Gaulden to FS and Reid to SS for 2019.  Add competition/ depth.
