Not saying either of you are wrong, but most mocks have him all over the place.  I've seen as high as 7, and yes, some outside of the 1st round. SB Nation at 22, Bleacher Report at 24, Sporting News not in the 1st, CBS - one mock at 23, one at 25, one mock outside the first, Walter Football at 25. 

He's a guy I like and should be in the first, but for every guy who starts projected in the 20s and rises in the draft, the same number fall.  Hell, Kony Ealy was a projected 1st rounder in some mocks right around draft time years ago.

He will absolutely be an option. He plays DE and he's one of the top prospects that will be on the board when we pick at 16. Not sure why you think he is not an option with our weakness at the position.

Since we are doing a youth movement could we start changing into a 3-4 defense?? (I know there are tons of posts about this and it’s a process) Poe could be great as a NT with Short as a DE. If we draft Sweat we can use him and Haynes on the outside (probably Addison too) giving us Shaq (or TD if we sign him for cheap) and Luke in the middle. Still leaves us one DE short, but we can try Butler at it or sign a FA... I feel like we are constantly missing prospects because they don’t fit the 4-3 scheme...

For special teams, yes he is. I stay as far away from FSU guys as I can. Their games rarely translate.
