consider that since Ron was hired he's 71-56-1 as a coach with 7 playoff games. He's 66th in NFL history in Wins, since taking over the Panthers are around 12th in wins.

In all fairness I think it’s too early to tell if he wants to win or not.  Keeping Hurney around gives me cause for concern... I can at least somewhat understand Rivera, but I really thought Tepper would bring in his own GM.

If Rivera doesn't win a Lombardi next season I'm having a hard time imagining a scenario in which both he and Hurney are back and signed to a 5 year extension.

Honestly, my view on this is- Trepper feels Ron did not have the proper equipment, personnel, and resources. (more than indoor practice field and in-house therapist)  In 2019 he will close the gap, and if Ron succeeds, he would be super loyal in return.
