If you consider not winning championships or making the playoffs consistently... well not many coaches are winning. 

 

consider that since Ron was hired he's 71-56-1 as a coach with 7 playoff games. He's 66th in NFL history in Wins, since taking over the Panthers are around 12th in wins.

Take out the Gettleman years and what's his record?

Honestly, my view on this is- Trepper feels Ron did not have the proper equipment, personnel, and resources. (more than indoor practice field and in-house therapist)  In 2019 he will close the gap, and if Ron succeeds, he would be super loyal in return.
