Good for Greg. The guy is a natural for TV and considering the injuries, I think we can all see that it is time.

Olsen has atleast performed when he has been on the field the last 2 seaasons.  His problem has been staying on the field.

Im fine with him coming back 1 more year.

 

But Id love for him to take over Jason Wittens announcing job, dude is turrible

Big difference. 

Not really. Age isn't the issue so.much as wear and tear.  You could argue Cam has taken more hits at 29 than most QBs take in their career. Plus what is worse for a QB than a chronic  shoulder injury that lingers more than one season. Plus if Olsen sits his cap hit is 7 million. If Cam sits it is 23 million or 1/6th of our total cap. Big difference.
