Is there any way we can get Drummond and Holiday without losing Kemba or Miles?

If we can find away to lose Batum in this as well.. That would be perfect..

I know Spencer says 90% we are trading for a center.. And Bleacher is reporting we inquired about Holiday.. Is Kup going to get both??

Without giving up a 1st or Kemba

The answer is No

The original rumored off we were looking with Drummond was Monk and Batum.

So with them off the board.  The only real bargain chips for Holliday would be

Kemba- Not going to happen

Bridges+Some. Dont see them giving up Bridges for that

A 1st round pick: not going to give up a 1st.  If we weren't willing to part ways with a 1st for bigger fish such as Bradley Beal, then No Way we give it up for Holiday.

I don't think Drummond would benefit this team in terms of how they like to play. He's essentially a younger Dwight Howard to me and I don't think they need that. I've gotten to the point now where I don't believe Batum is getting dealt. It would cost way too much, the Hornets would probably have to give up two first rounders to do that and I don't believe you should trade future picks just to get rid of an albatross contract. In my opinion, you should only trade future first rounders to get a bonafide superstar or if you're in a position to win a championship.

This team has been run off the court at Boston and Toronto but they've been extremely competitive with Philly and most other games. In essence, the team needs to make a minor deal for a viable rotation player. Monk's improvement has been vital during this stretch and he needs to keep that going and they've done it without Zeller. I'm not his biggest fan but he's important to what they do and he makes Kemba way more effective in the P&R game. If Monk can continue to progress, that can really make this team much more dangerous offensively with those three on the court at the same time.

But, Zeller has to stay healthy, which is a crapshoot.

Batum is hard to get away from and he sucks..

I wish he was gone so Miles can get those minutes..

Zeller is soft and he stays hurt.. Has he ever played a full season??

I would love to get a replacement center..

I would also liked to get more time for Bacon.. So we need to get rid of some wings...

Add that Frank is a albatross sitting on the bench..

We need to get rid of him as well.. We need to make some deals...

Frank is on the last year of a cheap rookie deal. The only way he gets dealt is part of a package most likely. If someone offered a 2nd rounder for him, I'm sure Kupchak would take that deal. But, they need another body down low. If I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes up about a major deal. I don't think the Hornets have enough to pull something off without including future first rounders, which they should not part with.

    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
