If you haven’t noticed, the length of my posts are directly proportional to how absurd and unintelligible your arguments are.

Most people who feel confident in their arguments are eager to engage in debate, tearing apart their opponent’s argument point by point...you know, like what I just did to you. But no, you have a clear aversion to legitimate debate which is very telling of how much you even value your own opinions.

I mean...did you really just pull something from the playbook of a 4-year-old kid sticking his fingers in his ear, screaming “lalalalala” when someone says something mean to him? And is that the same 4-year-old kid you apparently adopted your attention span and football acumen from? I really do enjoy our exchanges !

Nah.

Rivera hires an experienced retread?  "Typical Rivera.  Not willing to go outside of the box."

Rivera does what another poster literally suggested above and hires someone as an assistant so they can learn and go up the ladder?  "Wow, Rivera playing favorites and loyalty.  Typical Rivera."

Rivera hires a young outside mind from a strong program.  "He has no experience."

Pretty much!

Yo Mr. Scot, are you ever gonna stop predictably unraveling every time I engage you?

Oh ok cool.

Don't flatter yourself, dude.

You're not important enough to "unravel" anything, and you never really have anything interesting to say.

Heck, if what you write is longer than this post, chances are I didn't bother to read it.

If you do some research before throwing out ad hominem responses you will see this is exactly the type of hire argued for out the other side of mouths here.

“Peetz was very involved in Nick Saban’s implementation of RPOs to highlight Tua Tagovailoa’s skill set. So Ron Rivera brings a young guy with fresh ideas in,” Breer wrote in a followup to the news of Peetz departure from Alabama.

Hey guys look, we've tried bringing up talent from within and it bit them in the ass due to his unshakable loyalty to a tremendous fault. It should be well known by now that RR has that issue. What's the problem with bringing in young coaches with fresh ideas? Does anyone here not think if he was an offensive assistant for the entire offense of a team, he couldn't coach a focused position group within the offense? Let's give the new guy a chance before we poo bricks.

The Pat's RB coach since 2002 started with the team as a receivers coach. Prior to that he was with the bears as a receivers coach and an earlier stint with the Pat's doing the same. His career started working with receivers and QBs with Syracuse and William & Marry.

Skip Peete, RB coach of the Rams, began his career coaching receivers.

On a complete side note it's interesting to see Mike Groh is the OC for the eagles. He was the UVA QB when they were the first ACC team to beat FSU. I went to school in Winston Salem with him when his dad coached Wake.  He was a few years ahead of me and taught me how to pitch in little league.

Breer speculates on the reason...

Eeehhh...

RPO, this is just final proof that Tepper is a fuging idiot. The Panthers post Chudzinski have continued to abuse Cam Newton for nearly a decade. The one prize we got out of the old lecher Jerry Richardson's 2010 plan was Cam. And Rivera has continued to pound him into injury after injury. Through ankles, feet, and shoulder injuries. Maybe Cam will recover maybe not but these incompetent @holes are preparing to abuse an MVP caliber talent for yet another NFL campaign.

I remember the Cam Newton who broke all of Peyton Mannings' rookie records.

Cam is a generational talent. Until Richardson, Hurney,  Rivera and now apparently Tepper are purged completely from this franchise, Cam newton will continue to be under estimated and under achieve in this deep south old crony good old boy franchise.

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
