I also said that no one has a crystal ball. Hell, you don't even know the rationale behind their move, and you certainly aren't privy to their plan. Just like I told you rationale that Tepper could use to keep Hurney and Rivera that basically was confirmed by him, I'm sure that reasons I have discussed has undoubtedly factored in their decision to keep Smith.

It’s actually not a move. It just makes him like we all thought he was which was signed already. 

   Same principles. I don’t see a point but it’s not an issue yet.

Thanks, I hadn't realized that. It doesn't really matter though, he's a career back-up (IMO) and shouldn't cost anywhere near $5M.
