A lot of people agree with me because I’m right... a smart scout reads traits and how a guy wins, not watch stats and say oh he won games and had 100 sacks. Ask how and why he put up those numbers. I don’t care how you look at it. There is no way you can’t say Wilkins and dexter didn’t help Ferrell put up better numbers and free attention away from him.

If Hurney picks Ferrell, then Ferrell is the best guy there. Deal with it.

No one here is qualified to say a pick is going to suck or not. Many haters have eaten a lot of roasted turkey over the years— and many man crushers have run to hide or flip flopped in denial as their favorite was a turd.

I’m good with Williams, Greedy, Burns, Ferrell, Bush,...

oh and I’ve been on the Jawann Taylor crush for months when the haters said he sucked,.. probably won’t make it out of the top 10 now.

Bro...all of these guys are good football players which is why we are talking about them. It’s not me that says these things about Ferrell the rest of the world. I get it your a Clemson fan. But the fact is you don’t draft based on stats. There’s a lot more that goes into an evaluation than he had 12 sacks for two years.

Burst, technique, speed, strength, football iq all these things go into evaluations not just well he was good in college. If Aren’t a special athlete in a draft full of them why would I want you? I don’t want just a guy. I want a specimen that grow and develop. How’s much upside does a guy that Ian that athletic have?

You don't have clue.. You drool over dudes in tights and no pads.. Everybody you champion is a workout warrior with question about their actual on field achievements..

Plus let's add in the fact we don't truly know what kind athlete Ferrell is because he couldn't do everything at the combine due to injuries..

Plus the fact you really can't read and understand the actual draft breakdown.. Because nobody says Ferrell is a bad athlete.. But you consistently act like he is a Olinemen playing DE for some reason.

Colt Brenen, Johnny manziel, all these guys looked great in college put up all time numbers... but athleticism caught up to them in a league full of athletic Guys. No one wants a average athelete. Not with a first round pick. Jared Allen in the 3rd sure. Not number 1.

Why are your comparisons always short or weak armed QB who might not have played in a pro system ..

Ferrell is perfect size and weight for a NFL DE.. Played in a pro system and produced in college.. And his athleticism numbers are avg or above for most NFL DE's..

You can't even make the right comparison when trying to make a point ..

Just because a guy produces in college it isn't the same situation as Ferrell.. Stop doing this stupid poo.

No alot of drones agree with you because they are to lazy to do the research for themselves.. They don't watch college football and only learn about these kids at the combine.. The ppl that agree with you drool over 40 time  and bench press twitters..  Which is okay.. Especially when they don't act like  you and portray a false sense of knowledge..

You brought up Stephen hill.. a guy we didn’t even draft to point out athletic guys can fail so I brought up stat guys that can fell not sure why u don’t get that. No one thinks Ferrell is a good athlete is all I’m saying.

You brought up guys who either didn't play in a pro system or had for real actual physical limitations.. Not a guy who is the prototypical NFL DE.. What is your comp for prototypical DE who produce in college..

Dane Brugler's comp for Ferrell is Chandler Jones

I'll take that at 16 all day and twice on Sunday..

Also seen him comp to Derrick Morgan who has also been a good player over his career and played both 4/3 DE and 3/4 OLB..

If Sweat and Burns are gone I'm looking to trade back 3-5 spots.  At that point I would consider Ford, Wilkins, Greedy, Metcalf or Simmons.

I would then have an extra 3rd.  If I want I can use that 3rd to try and move up in the second and pick someone like Tillery or Adderley.

I think your making a mute point. Unathletic guys just don’t go that high. If you aren’t Clowney or sweat, whatever you aren’t going that high. If your not a game changing athlete who cares if you have prototypical size. Stat guys are out there micheal sam who ever that just aren’t good enough at the next level.

you brought u guys with physical limitations, but if your a freak athlete like say Kyler Murray you can transcend those physical limitations or your size can be over looked. Ferrell would be a solid pick in last years draft but in one of the best defensive line drafts ever? He’s just a guy. He’s the worst of these top end guys.

trade back to say 25-28 and pick up a another second round pick and I’m good with Ferrell.
