Man y’all really missed the joke if y’all came into the thread looking for a report smh

There will be one soon enough.  ESPN will soon be reporting that "sources report that the Carolina Panthers draft is being over-hyped."

Forgive them dude...they didn’t piece together that you’re the resident edgy comedian, posting all these hilarious satire threads. I’ve been a big fan of yours since the one about the bench and Will Grier.

Who is really hyping them?

Exactly! I don't even think that the Huddle is really hyping the picks, much less over-hyping them.

Just my opinion, the wise Panthers fan just waits to see what unfolds. Historically, we won't know what we really have until probably early October at the very earliest. Generally, It takes time for rookies to transition and flash with consistency.

There is a difference between what looks solid on paper---based upon college film---and what transpires on the pro field, and sometimes the growth continues as planned (or better than planned), and sometimes it stutters, hits a brick wall, or simply just peters out.

Deciding to have an initial positive perspective based upon drafting what seem to be quality players, based upon tape, traits and talent, who look to fill areas of need is not over-hyping players. Starting a relatively random thread with a deceptive thread title is trying too hard to discredit the players before they've even gotten their feet wet, and it bespeaks more to an agenda than analysis.
