At the time he was on the hot seat, he wouldn’t be around to use the two picks, and the panthers ended up missing the playoffs by a game. also the only team that’s ever sad that deal was a thing are the rams. They have plenty of motivation to have lied about it. -

Actually we were losing and Bryce was finishing off 0/4 when it mattered. -
Not really fair to exclude our two big FA upgrades and other additions but yeah this is a huge coup for the Rams. At this point what they did to upgrade their defense is probably stronger than what we did and we did a lot. That move at QB has to be yet to be determined. Of course you trust McVey but that was awful high. So good for them. I mean, our hand was forced by Icky’s injury - I am not complaining about Freeling being g the pick.
