Is Cam Newton Washed?

Cam Newton is not washed. 

 

There's so many things I could've done with my day today.  yanno?  Coulda went to the grocery store.  Bought some avocados.  Maybe sunbathe my balls for the testosterone benefits.  Who the hell knows.  but I decided to watch the best motherfugging team in the entire world the CAROLINA PANTHERS on a beautiful sunday.  Watched the game...

 

Immediately knew that everyone was gonna shyt on Cam. 

 

That 3rd down with 6 mins left was bad.  Cam missed samuel and he was almost wide open.  The INT the very next series was awful as well.  I think I called Cam's mother a b*tch a few times and I want to formally apologize to you, mother of cam... if you're out there listening. 

 

Cam didn't have a preseason.  Played like what 2 series versus new england I think?  This was the very first game of the season and honestly I think we would've clutched it if CMC scores that late TD before the 2 minute warning.  Rams went to the super bowl last year and last I checked they were a pretty good team.  Cam played bad but honestly i'd probably of bet you money he was gonna have a bad game if you asked me about it two weeks ago.  It's week 1. 

 

Panther's lost, boo hoo.  Cam had one bad game and we still almost won.  It's all good in the hood.

Almost only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and pocket pool...

tired of the f’ing almost.. we lost enough of the “almost” last year. 2019 was supposed to be different.

He's on the decline of his career.  Can't run, can't throw deep.  He's working on salvaging his career by becoming a better pocket passer, but he's always going to have read issues and inability to throw an accurate deep ball will likely force him to take more hits.

      Making something out of nothing and improvising was a big part of his selling point but it was always primarily as a passer distributing the ball aka point guard. But he had 185 rushing yards in 2 full seasons at Alabama. Again. We didn't draft him for his legs no matter how many times someone wants engage in revisionist history.

      Our line is built to run 1st, not pass block. Our LT was drafted as a run blocking mauler, not the pass pro ready. To top it off, our coach can't recognize which RB is actually producing in game.  Another issue is we have a QB that can't play effectively from inside a tight pocket. He can't see the field. His sight line is below the shoulder pads of most linemen. Stepping up into a tight pocket is essentially going blind for him. Top OL play is always going to be an issue because unless we can keep huge gaps, his field vision will be limited. It's why he's so quick to bail and scramble.  It's why I can't do floor seats with my wife. I'm 6'3 and my vision still gets blocked. She's 5'3 and she's blind. It's front row or regular tiered seats.

      We finally got a really good duo performance from LaMelo and Brandon and with the help of Kon Knueppel we knocked off the Hawks. Now we play the waiting game to see how long LaMelo will remain relatively healthy.
