he absolutely has a point, though. robert kraft was literally busted on camera "engaging" with sex trafficking victims and faced no consequences from the league, meanwhile AB was cut (by Kraft) over thusfar unproven accusations.

ben is literally nicknamed rapelisburger and received very minor punishment by his team.

there's a disparity.

If unproven is the standard, why compare it to Ben? What was proven there? Or an old single guy getting a happy ending?

Why not mention Joe Mixon? Or Leonard Little or Dontae Stallworth? They literally killed people. Or do they not fit the agenda?

There was no evidence of this FYI. He got a rub and tug.

the owner of the establishment was a sex trafficker. it's pretty doubtful he got a rub and tug from the 1 voluntary non-trafficking victim who just loves giving old men handjobs for fun.

Roethlisberger technically did suffer consequences, though I and many others think they weren't anywhere close to severe enough. The league may have felt they'd lose a legal challenge if they imposed a harsher punishment.

Kraft, on the other hand, ended up off the hook legally speaking. But the league has made clear that you can still punish players even if they suffer no legal consequence. They just chose to go no further.

What was proven that he did to deserve it. If ABs allegations are unproven, so are Ben’s. Can’t have it both ways.

...AB was released. Ben was not. both over unproven allegations. you're trying to have it both ways.

What's the agenda?

Seems to be to justify ABs actions by bringing up only “specific” players or owners who either are irrelevant to the situation, or are not given the same “benefit of the doubt” that AB is.

Think some people are completely missing it

"4 games for Big Ben Crazy world I'm done with it."

"Someone legit needs to get to Antonio Brown"

"May be alarms"

No matter what side you standif you thunk people are not being fair to him.  Or you think he needs to be locked up.

The dude needs some mental help Now.

Ben's case was many years ago.  A lot has changed in the league since then.  I'm pretty certain any player facing similar allegations today would face much harsher punishment.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
