Opinion: How would you use CMC as O.C?

We all know he is a tremendous  player and a very gifted athlete. We also know that he is still a human being and not invincible. How should they handle him going into the bulk of the season.

Norv seems to have settled on just using him adnauseum regardless of the consequences. What strategy should be employed to avoid wearing him down to a nub as the season wears on. Opinions please.

Use the other RBs. CMC is all pro but we saw what happened using a RB with fresh legs. Give the man a breather every now and then.

I would sit him sparingly during the first half, keep his legs fresh so if we go into the fourth qtr needing to run the clock he’s rested.

You could look at him today and see he was gassed. Coaches should have forced him to sit

We had to use him heavily the last two games to be in it. Idk how you change that until Moore and Samuel step up, and Kyle gets the deep game going. All I know is I would hate to see us without him so knock on wood he stays healthy and continues to dominate. To me he is running away with the MVP at this point. He has an entire year worth of highlight clips only 5 games in.

I think that it's somewhat defensible to increase his workload when your franchise qb is out and his backup is showing promise but a tendency to fumble. If the workload does not go down after Cam comes back, that's much less defensible imo. We now have clear game evidence that we have other capable backs. Use them.
