...im entitled to my opinion ...you dont have to agree...obviously u dont know the value of a true franchise QB...i suspect ur a lake norman crowd...

You are entitled to it but of all our needs to take an early round pick and use it on a QB right now wouldn’t make much sense.

so ...ur comfortable with what we got?...qb situation is tenuous at best...wake up son. ice up.

I still believe in Cam and Allen might be the best backup in the league.

Even if I think we need to get someone ready to replace Cam with this WR and OL group it would be pointless having some Joe Burrow smuck.

I’m a big Cam supporter but I’ll say this. Even if he comes back with MVP stats this year and next year I think this would still be a smart move. Grier’s ceiling isn’t near as high as young Cam’s so I don’t think he’s the answer.

If Hurts is available in the second round then snag his ass up. Similar skill set and a little bit better of a passer I believe.

MVP stats...Jesus

I did an all offense draft on the draft network simulator and I'm not gonna lie, it ain't half bad

16 D'Andre Swift, RB Georgia

The board would be hysterical with this pick but imagine CMC and Swift splitting carries. Could really be a change of pace and alleviate his load a little.

48 Prince Tega Wanogho, OT Auburn

I've watched him at Auburn and for a guy still learning the position his ceiling is still incredibly high. He's been solid at LT and his physical traits are through the roof.

80 Collin Johnson, WR Texas

Big bodied receiver. He would be a red zone monster for us. Top end speed isn't phenomenal but we have enough of that already.

112 Albert Okwuegbunam, TE Missouri

Need a short first down conversion guy with sure hands who can also block rather well? Here's your guy! He's not necessarily going to make the big plays like Olsen but he'd be an upgrade to Thomas and others.

143 Solomon Kindley, IOL Georgia

Tremendous ability and ceiling. Might be a solid option on the inside at least for depth.

175 Gabriel Davis, WR UCF

Absolute burner with solid hands and great making the contested catches. Not an explosive acceleration.

207 Saahdiq Charles, OT LSU

Physically the tools are there. He'd be a project but more than worth a 7th round pick at a position of need. Between Prince/Solomon/Saahdiq our OL would have an instant upgrade.

Now I'm not proposing this strategy but I would nut myself if our offense got this much of an upgrade for Cam to work with. If Tee Higgins hadn't gone the pick before my 2nd I would have chosen him and gone OL in the 3rd but I still like this haul.

Horrible..I mean this makes no sense what so ever

    • I agree.  I don’t think I have ever been accused of being a Howell fan. No more than fan of some other random QB.   But I watched and I saw. He has some talent. Maybe I didn’t watch close enough to see his weaknesses.
    • He is a pit bull when it comes to that.  And after he missed out last year on Williams, it seems he is trying a different approach, looks like. Don’t hold back. No half measures, because someone will come and full measure your ass. Close the deal. He left a little opening for The Patriots last year.  He closed so far this year. Of what we know about.
    • They have been doing the mercenary one year RB now for a little while. Foreman..  It works pretty well. You can find ball carriers. The passing game trips a lot of those guys up. Pass blocking, route running, they have a lot to know.    Rico wasn’t a great pass blocker but he got in the way most of the time. He is a really good pass catcher.     He’s tough. Needs to find out why he was cramping late in the games. If he can fix that maybe can step up even more. Wish him luck. I think he’ll do well.    If Brooks can be something, what a bonus that would be at this point.  I really believe they went for him because of his extra layer with being a good receiver. And we need more of that with what we are working with trying to move the ball.
