How many weeks of rehab does Cam have left?

OK, I can see this as a "conspiracy theory" based on speculation and worst-case scenarios, so let me add to it.  Before, when Cam was injured, he was noticeable on the sideline--a cheerleader.  While I realize that the team was being drubbed,  I never saw that.  I saw a subdued QB, hood over his head (but it was windy), not really talking to anyone.  I may have missed something and maybe the cameras did not cover him well, but it was not the same Cam.  Did anyone else notice this or was it just me?

well, there wasn't a lot to celebrate on Sunday.

No one was more excited than Cam on the safety though.

Today in his press conference Ol' Rowboat said:

"Cam is in the middle of his rehab program, he's doing the things we ask of him, we'll go ahead and start Kyle".

(next question)

Later he said:

..."the last update I got more-so than anything else is he's going through his rehab, and as he continues through that they will give me updates as to where he is, and we'll see.  Again, he's probably had a workout today, or some sort of treatment, he'll have one tomorrow, he'll have one on Wednesday, and we'll probably get an update by then.  But right now as I told you guy we are going to this game with Kyle as the starter."

(Ol' Rower seems like he is completely in the dark on what Cam is doing on a daily basis)

According to The Rower the rehab program for Cam started the weekend after the first Tampa Bay game....Rower assured us Cam was rehabbing over that weekend --- that was 6-weeks ago.

If Cam is truly "in the middle" of his rehab program this implies 12-weeks total (not unexpected with a Lisfranc injury)....

....this would imply an initial start on 12/8 against the Falcons at their place --- probably a good place to get him going, Falcons aren't putting up much of a fight against anyone.

My thought was 12/1 at home against the Redskins would be his first start but giving Cam one more week won't hurt anything.

Closing Observation:  When the subject of Cam is raised Ol' Rowboat is visibly uncomfortable and his body language is horrendous, truly a bizarre situation.

(would love to sit down at a poker table with The Rower!)

When were scared to start the 5-1 starting QB cause we lost on the road to a 7-0 football team... Hate to tell ya, losing by 20 isn't any different then 38 points. This is different from Pittsburgh. SF just had some bullcrap Atlanta offense that was not on tape for us, Ron had clearly prepared for a different defense. In Ron's defense, you can't prepare for an old offense from 2016 in 2019 (this literally felt like the Atlanta game in 2016 except we scored 34 instead of the 13 points). Beat TN on Sunday and lets travel to GB and come home to beat Atlanta and get to NO 7-3... Tampa beats them we can take this lead and get to December 8-3 with the NFCS lead. My prediction was 2-1 over these 3 road games this month and I stand by it. We have 3 home games in December... Saints lose to SF and Tampa, we can lose in NO and reasonably go to week 17 11-4 if we beat GB... Saints would be 12-3 in that game if they lose those two. I don't buy the whole the Saints are going 15-1 narrative, our fans whined about it in 2017 and we had a chance to win the division had we not layed an egg in Atlanta. Panthers would have losses to Tampa, SF, Rams, and Saints. NO would have the same losses. But the tiebreaker of strength of victory coming before strength of schedule is BS. Our schedule is harder then the Saints, how is Strength of victory more relevant? Is what it is. Let's sweep those fuggers

I saw Cam talking to Allen multiple times and after that 3rd INT he was sitting with him on the bench.  no reason to think Cam wasn't talking to his teammates plenty..

Yeah..it was widespread mentioned by reporters and commentators that Cam was on the sideline.  Talking to Grier and Allen about what he saw going on during the game.

Pretty sure it was just you bub...

This is the sort of ugliness that embarrasses everyone in our fanbase. SBiii is just a sad troll wanting attention. What's your excuse?

Clearly you have not watched any of Ron's weekday press conferences

He didn't "storm" out.  It was wildly reported as being a very polite exit.

The presser was to talk about the game.  The reporters asked a bunch of questions that had nothing to do with the game.  Rivera said "lets only talk about the game".  Then an idiot reporter ignored him, and asked him yet another question that had nothing to do about the game.

Since the presser that was designed to talk about the game...wasn't talking about the game.  It was deemed over.

But then again, you know this.  Any one with the mental ability of a 4th grader knows this.

But this doesn't push your bull poo idiotic agenda, so you are ignoring it.

And this has nothing to do with your quips about "body language" or whatever other type of ignorant bull poo you are trying to push.

I dont think Ron meant literally the middle.of rehab. I think he meant simply it was ongoing.

You're probably right.

That said, clearly he's not playing this week.  If he still doesn't have a single practice under his belt is it realistic to think he will be ready for Packers or Falcons?  Maybe Falcons.

But, if he's not ready for Falcons the next game is at New Orleans and that kind of looks like another SF type of challenge --- is that the kind of fire Riverboat wants to throw him into first time out?

If not we are now into December....

The sooner he's back the better as far as I'm concerned.

In his Monday presser Ron made some interesting comments on the subject you mention here.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Not sure why you care so much about what I have to say or why it upsets you so much.

For some reason you conflate my observations about Ron's testy behaviour and disingenuous commentary on the situation with some sort of negative take on Cam --- this just is not the case.

The sooner the better for Cam coming back as far as I'm concerned....but I continue to believe Ron & Co are bullsh***ing us about what is really going on.

Question, when do you believe Cam will be back in the starting lineup?

I believe it will be 12/1 against the Redskins at the earliest...

...and you?

It doesn't upset me.  If anything it makes me want to come here less.

This message board having so many people create horrible threads takes away from the community.  I like a good community.

I am not conflating it on to Cam.  I am saying that Ron's "testy behaviour" about Cam literally doesn't happen.

you're one of the ones who loses it on people all the time that disagree with you.  maybe makes things less personal and it'll be a better place too

If you believe I will only say things you don't like why do you waste your time reading my posts?

In your daily life you're not obligated to stop into every restaurant you don't like --- you just drive on by --- please do the same here.

As for your position on Ron's testy behaviour as it relates to Cam....you're position is laughable :crying:

PS...when do you believe Cam will next appear in an NFL game?
