McCoy - try to retain on a 2-3 year contract.

Shaq - let him walk. In a vacuum I'd live to keep him. I think he's a very good LB. But, our DL is utterly depleted and I don't think we can afford to tie up elite LB money in two players.

Bradberry - re-sign long-term. He's our top priority FA IMO.

Addison - try to retain on a 2-3 year contract

Boston - try to retain for backup money, if he wants more don't hesitate to let him walk

Daryl - let him walk

Cockrell - see Boston

Wright - let him walk

Butler - let him walk

GVR - see Boston

Hogan - let him walk

Love - let him walk

Horto - walk

Elliott - walk

Irvin - walk

People saying we will get one second round pick for Cam seriously make me laugh.

Not going to get much more than that.

A Old Injured QB with 1 year left on his deal.

No chance in he11 someone is giving a 1st round pick for that.  2nd rounder is about right

we need a center.

We do but Paradis will cost more to cut than retain. He has at least another year here. Unless we take Biadasz and play him year one at guard. Trouble is our DTs are all old and expensive. We need young guys in the rotation there.

If Belichick is willing to give up a 2nd round pick (late albeit) for Muhammad Sanu, then I think we can get WAAAY more for a former MVP who just last year looked like an MVP before an injury derailed him. I would not be pissed (although disagree) if we traded Cam for a 1st and 2nd, but would be if we only got a 2nd in return.

Trade- Cam

Tell- Olsen to go ahead make the decision to go to the broadcasting booth or we'll make it for him.

Let Butler walk to Buffalo or New York

Resign Shaq and Bradberry, offer McCoy and Addison

Resign Daryl Williams.........yep you heard me.  Dude will cost pennies and is good depth.  He played well at RG when Trai Turner was out.  And Turner has missed at least a few games a season the last 3 years or so.

Offer Cockrell, again Depth.  And Hogan.

Let GVR walk

Let Boston test FA, if no one signs him again, offer him cheap.

Draft Kinlaw (Or Brown if he falls).  If you get a 2nd for Cam, package for Xavier McKinney.  Draft a interior OL or OT who falls that can play LG as well.

And start working on CMC's deal- next year will be the first year he will be eligible for extension.  With the life span of a RB, they way we work him, plus the trend your seeing with RBs wanting that extension before their last year of deal.  We best be working hard on that if he is in plans for this organization down the road

Sanu hasnt had the injuries.

If Sanu was out this whole year with a lisfrac injury, played hurt all last year and could tell.  Had surgery the year before, and a different injury the year before that.

Yeah they wouldnt get a 2nd from New England.

I think these depend on the salaries. We've had much much worse as cornerback than Cockrell over the years. Not sure what back up money is to you but i'd probably give him 2 million / year.

Irvin has been a solid vet for cheap and I like what Elliott has shown as well.

Yeah, I'd definitely keep Cockrell for solid backup money.

I just think Irvin us redundant with Burns, Miller, and Haynes. I think he was basically just signed in case the youngsters weren't ready for featured roles.

I’ve been probably Shaq’s biggest hater ever since he was drafted. The man has shown to be pretty elite this year. At times, he looked like a young Thomas Davis. He can do a lot of things that Luke can’t. I know LB can be drafted easier than most positions but when you invested so much and Shaq and then see him come into his own, you have to keep him.

    • "by name"?  You mean they are letting him say he is retiring or stepping down? That's even more embarrassing than being fired (he basically quit) and so transparently false that the media will kill him and this university.  If this happens, I may just turn full fledge to an SMU fan since I live in Dallas now. I'm just about sick of this university's approach to basketball and football.
