Oh believe me I’m hoping we can improve and make a run- but I’ve outgrown blind homerism. We had a shot at LA, SF, and GB. There’s a reason we’re 0-3 in those games. Until our defense plays with some fire and our offense keeps improving we just can’t compete with the upper echelon.

I don’t understand all the bashing the oline is getting besides our center which is deserved, other than that they have been opening huge running lanes, we are playing rookie tackles, moton is playig great, van roton is playing good, other than that what is all the bashing for?  Do you really believe with a hard hitting lurking safety in the backfield will not alter a offenses gameplan?

Not when they can just run the ball down our throats and I've been one of the ones on here most vocal about trying to add a legit FS for years.

Rivera has generally preferred "enforcer" safeties to coverage safeties.

Fact is our best run stopping formation is the 3-4 yet Rivera refuses to just stay in that.
