Lose today and Ron should 100% be canned

At some point the stinch of failure and lack of accountability will not be easily washed off this off-season. Firing his ass would bring a new sense of urgency and accountability to the franchise. This would jump start the off-season. 

 

But who would replace him?!?!  

 

Who cares. A loss today and there isn't another win on the schedule. It doesn't matter. Hell, throw Steve Smith out there as head coach. At least it would be entertaining.

Norv would be the immediate replacement with his experience. I would prefer to see what Scott can do. I’m worried Scott Turner is going to go somewhere else and be successful when we had him on our staff this whole time... It would be like McDermott, Beane or Romans all over again. However we will beat the lowly Redskins and look like a solid team, heck we might even beat the Falcons and then get crushed by Seattle and New Orleans and draft outside of the top 10.

What does firing Ron today if the Panthers lose accomplish? Coaching isn’t the only issue...we have lots of players not performing up to their contracts.

It let's the team know that a culture of losing has consequences.

Norv would be the interim coach.  But who would take over the defensive duties?  I mean without Ron calling plays our defense will suck!   Wait, on second thought.....

Its already draft season in my head. I'm just hoping we don't go 3-2 to finish the season and end 8-8. I always root for the win, but it is pretty obvious we are cleaning house after the season. The biggest question is what happens to Cam and this will play itself out in spring.

So who runs the team if Ron is fired and I guarantee it will not be Norv. Norv would retire before taking over after his friend was fired.
