Cam vs. Tua

Very straightforward question: the more we lose, the more it's likely that we're going to be in a position to draft Tua if he falls to around the 10th pick because of his injuries. If the choice presents itself, would you rather want the new coach to start his career here with Cam and the question marks that surround him or would you rather pair Tua with the new coach and start from scratch like we did in 2011?

Depends on too many factors.

If Cam requires a new contract before stepping onto the field and Tua's medicals are the two unknowns at this point.

Answer those, along with who is going to be the next coach, and I can give my opinion.

Tua most likely won’t play in the NFL dude.

That's an absurd statement. He's expected to make a full recovery. The only long-term concern with the hip was if any tissue died before they could go in and fix it. No tissue died, so he'll be 100% in the NFL.

Tua is made of glass.  The hip injiry is the one that has everyone concerned.

But the dude hasnt been healthy since his Freshman year.  Foot, ankle, etc injuries.

I know its the SEC, but the players are Much bigger, faster, and stronger in the NFL.  And hit way harder.

I still don’t think he will get drafted. He was minutes away from dying by every news report. He’s glass dude, worse than Manzel glass. Only a desperate team would take that risk.

I’m not sure they can determine this soon whether or not he can or will develop osteonecrosis. An angiogram might lead you to believe that there’s no significant vascular injury to the femoral head, but I’m not sure it would be definitive.

    • 😆If you're not elite or a potential HOFER, then LG calls you "run-of-the-mill" or "meh." Shaq has had a decent career---better than many longtime starters, but not everyone is built to be worthy of the Hall Of Fame.
    • I don't even blame Remmers. The Falcons did us a massive favor showing us his Achilles heel in our lone regular season loss. They ruined our perfect season but in doing so they should've helped us win the SH. Remmers absolutely couldn't handle an elite speed rusher one on one. Providing Remmers help on Von Miller out of the gate should have been plan A in SB50 and we needed to have a plan B of shifting to focus more on quick developing routes of our typical slow developing downfield passing game wasn't planning out. Remmers gets most of the blame from fans for the outcome of that game but honestly I put much more of the blame on Shula. Vic Beasley and the Falcons had already given you a preview. The Broncos players literally laughing in the post-game interviews about how we changed up literally nothing for that game was just the icing on the cake. Shula was playing checkers against Wade Phillips chess.
    • After the phins didnt jump on a hard count he said "they didnt bite the cheese" the wife and I nearly pissed ourselves laughing. Not - they didnt take the bait - they didnt bite the cheese   Between that and all the talk of square shoulders and the way he over emphasizes EVERYTHING its exhausting
