He was the only one with a chance at it though. Cousins threw into double coverage and the only guy who had a chance to catch it was not his guy.

No argument.

Cousins just doesn't perform well in prime time.

Of course, that same thing could have been said of our entire team for the last few years.

I think what he is saying was impressive was the one handed catch of it. Even in that case not the easiest to hang onto the ball in that manner.

Given Kirk Cousins MNF(or MFN, if you prefer) track record, should the Vikings be invited back while he is the starter? Seems like just setting the team up for failure, really.

I am curious though, does he have this kind of choking record on all primetime slots(Sunday Night, Thursday Night, playoffs)?

I remember Donte Jackson making a really cool looking interception early in the year too.

Apparently I blocked out the rest of his season.

I have to check but I actually think we've had some really good MNF football performances the past few seasons.

Sunday night, though...

Yep, exactly what I was expecting. Never play a close game against Rodgers since 9 times out of 10 it will bite you in the ass and your defense gets shredded.

Believe it or not, Rodgers is a good QB to drag into deep waters historically. He is actually one of the least clutch 4th quarter QB's among the current NFL elite passers when trailing. True story.

Doesn't help that the Vikings' D is gassed because their offense has been unable to sustain drives. Pretty sure GB has them nearly doubled up on time of possession.

This was kind of predictable. Without Cook the Vikings offense is pretty meh. Don't forget the big improvement for them offensively was literally going from a heavy passing offense to a slightly more rushing heavy attack centered around Cook.

Because.......Kirk Cousins isn't really that good.....

Hmmmm, well I guess I just have those lucky Hail Mary passes stuck in my head or something. I could of sworn he had a better 4th quarter clutch stat. Oh well, guess it still works in this case since it wasn't the 4th quarter yet lol.
