That would be an ideal situation because McDaniels would have a GM that would see eye to eye with him and share the same vision. Trying to bring in McDaniels under an existing regime seems to be a square peg/round hole case.

Ziegler was a college teammate of McDaniels and Caserio at John Carroll University.

McDaniels actually got him his start in the NFL, bringing him aboard the Broncos scouting staff in 2010.

So yeah, there's definitely a connection there.

He has a 700% winning percentage as a head coach in the Nfl..

He won his division 3x out of 4 years..

What does that say to you about winning??

Guess you didn't have to wait that long did you..

I mean......a 700% winning percentage would be impressive....and statistically impossible.....

Sounds like a coach we had won 3 straight titles and couldn't win the big one. That would be a no for me, no more mediocre coaches please.

I think we have established that you have a pretty loose grasp of the concept of mediocrity in previous discussions. Having the 5th best winning percentage among NFL head coaches all-time is really not even close to "mediocre."

And I think that's something we've lacked with Rivera/Hurney and Rivera/DG. They didn't seem to be on the same page as far as what personnel was needed to run the scheme. Some examples include letting guys like Norman and Star walk and not replacing those roles. Or the disaster of the transition to the hybrid defense and lacking the proper personnel to pull it off this year.

The coach we had had 3 winning seasons in 9 years.. Harbaugh never had a losing seasons  and top 5 alltime in winning% ....in all categories He's considered top teir not mediocre..  By your logic Andy Reid is mediocre.. He's never won the big one either.. See how dumb that sounds??

Breer seems fixated on McDaniels. I wouldn't mind it but I've seen a lot of folks opposed to it. Regardless, 80% of the fanbase will hate whoever gets hired.

I just hope the coach that does get the opportunity has the chance to get the right pieces in place to put him in the best position to succeed.

I'm not a big fan of the idea myself, but if it happens I'll hope for the best like I always do.

Tepper has confirmed he'll be patient with whomever he hires.

To be fair, choosing the opposite of whatever Rivera wanted to do on the personnel side was generally a good idea.

Granted, not in every case.

Damn I don't want another Andy Reid that can win all these damn games, division titles, and never the big one. Hey if u want that maybe you should pull for the chiefs. I want a championship winning coach!
