Just several months ago this dude was talked about as the next big thing. I have been watching a lot of their games this year and I honestly don't see anything special about him. He's not even a top 5 QB this year in college football.

Whether Trevor lowered his helmet is irrelevant.  Doesn't even have to be helmet to helmet.  Can be in the neck area as well.  The OSU player lead with his helmet.

He lowered in for a clean hit.  Didnt lower the crown.  Lawerence lowered his head and drew the contact

That targeting call was all about preventing a LSU/OU sequel. I bet viewership numbers on that game look awful past the 1st quarter and this game was going down the same path.
