The Vikings ownership is so terrified of losing him, they are considering firing Mike Zimmer (who is an excellent coach in his own right), to elevate Kevin.  How often has that ever happened in the NFL?

Even if you read any Vikings forum, they're scared of losing the guy and want to replace Zimmer with him.

Stefanski can be the next Sean McVay, and responsible for making Kirk Cousins look like an elite QB.   

You are right--since there seemed to be no interest beyond what we were saying, I have not researched him.

Yes, Fewell is a better head coach than McDaniels. McDaniels would ruin this organization. And Jim Harbaugh would easily top my list if he was of interest to Tepper but it doesn’t appear that is the case...

McDaniels is scheduled interview this Friday regardless of whether the Patriots win or lose.

It's the interview window that the NFL allows to keep successful coaches from losing out on opportunities.

Just hope we get the right one either way, I'll roll with whomever.

Stefanski would technically be the sixth horse.

Of course, Fewell isn't really a legitimate candidate and Rhule probably isn't coming here anyway.

I am kind of like Mr. Scot at this point, none of the serious candidates will make me melt down in anger but none of them will have me jumping for joy either. I'll be in a "wait and see" mode regardless of the hire.
