If you don't want Stefanski to be our next head coach, you haven't read enough about him.

He's the smartest coordinator in the entire NFL, and also commands the respect of his players and everyone around him.

The Vikings ownership is so terrified of losing him, they are considering firing Mike Zimmer (who is an excellent coach in his own right), to elevate Kevin.  How often has that ever happened in the NFL?

Even if you read any Vikings forum, they're scared of losing the guy and want to replace Zimmer with him.

Stefanski can be the next Sean McVay, and responsible for making Kirk Cousins look like an elite QB.

You are right--since there seemed to be no interest beyond what we were saying, I have not researched him.

Your theory about Ivy league is not silly---habits of mind.  He has been successful through analytics...

Of Course, Jason Garrett is probably available--Princeton.:omg:

In order:

Bieniemy

Rhule

Stefanski

McCarthy

Fewell

McDaniels

Yes, Fewell is a better head coach than McDaniels. McDaniels would ruin this organization. And Jim Harbaugh would easily top my list if he was of interest to Tepper but it doesn’t appear that is the case...

what the fuck wtf GIF

So is the hope that the Patriots lose this weekend so we can see if it really is McDaniels? Or we find out that it’s just being thorough and it was McCarthy or Bienemy

That won't be hard for me, I hope they lose every weekend even during the offseason.

I hope not

I just think that is who they might be targeting.  I think he could be the next Sean Payton, or he could be this year's version of a Brown's coach.

He has ties to Cleveland--grew up in Ohio--

If the Stef rumors are true, there could be a fifth horse in this race.

Stefanski would technically be the sixth horse.

Of course, Fewell isn't really a legitimate candidate and Rhule probably isn't coming here anyway.

Basically, discount anybody with some version of "ool" in their name.

I was kinda leaning toward Roman earlier, but the more I think about it, Stef may be who I would prefer at this point?

Just hope we get the right one either way, I'll roll with whomever.

(Except McCarthy, that would likely piss me off)

A lot of fans wanted Roman.

NFL team owners seem to disagree.
