A great tight end can fix a lot of ills: O-line, passing offense, running offense.

An okay tight end doesn't do much.

I'm not sold on Ian yet, but he hasn't seen the field enough to say he's a bust.

If we were to draft one in the first three rounds, yeah, that'd be good.

But we need a center first and a NT second, if we don't end up needing a QB. (As much as I admire Cam, we won't know anything until we see him in action).

TE is, next to the RB safety valve, the QBs security blanket. And can be king of mismatches. I'd put TE over #2 WR if you want to use him as a pass catcher.
