I've heard a couple of people here mention this name.

Report: Ravens will listen to trade offers for Matthew Judon

Expect the price to be high.

Why would you be willing to trade a guy at a premium position that you’re willing to tag?  If you’re willing to tag him it means you’re willing to pay him top 5 money at his position. Who considers a top 5 edge rusher coming into his prime expendable?

This smells like the Ravens are just feigning indifference to drive the price up.

Don't know. I do know the Ravens have a very smart general manager.

(must be nice)

I call shenanigans.

I've been looking for a way to pass that information along to David Tepper but the NFL seems to be doing a good job of keeping it from him.

Or maybe it's Marty Hurney that's doing that. I can't be sure.

Giants have added former Tennessee Vols head coach Derek Dooley, apparently as receiver coach.

That actually would give them four former head coaches on staff, two pro (Garrett and Kitchens) and two college (Dooley and Bret Bielema).

They could move it up to three former pro coaches if they hire Garrett's old buddy Scott Linehan as their quarterback coach.

Cowboys have announced their full staff...

Interestingly enough, only one of the three coaches that was part of McCarthy's "coaching project" actually made it onto his staff. Scott McCurley was named linebackers coach. Frank Cignetti took a job with Boston College as their OC and Jim Haslett...well, he just wasn't invited to the party.

So much for a "plug and play" staff.

I guess we’ll see next season whether a staff of all head coaches is better than a staff of college coaches

gonna be a lot of cooks in that giants kitchen.    which one of them starts populating the new kids back with knives first?
