Story time!

Story time!

This is one of my least favorite stories to tell.

Why?

Because this story is about the one thing I hate the most, and all of the times I’ve experienced it firsthand

This is a story about my personal failures

Goodness America.  I’ve failed a lot.  Part of me tells this story just to remind myself that I’m still a highly capable fugup if I put my mind to it..  but I digress.

Failure #1

Leadroar.com

The idea was sound in theory.  Create a B2B lead generation company that sells leads to other companies.  Simple!  I mean how hard could it be?  Everyone needs leads for their business.  On top of lead generation I’d offer marketing services like SEO, I could also build websites.  You name it.  It was my first venture into entrepreneurship.  I honestly had high hopes.

The moment the glass broke-

I realized that I was severely underfunded to make this venture work.  For being a “lead generation” company...  I wasn’t really good at generating leads.  I figured that “lead generation” consisted of hopping onto referenceUSA and doing some research/data scraping to put together some email addresses.  On top of that...  I couldn’t find any clients.  I was in over my head and honestly had no idea what I was doing. Turns out looking up business ideas on YouTube isn’t really the best thing to base MAJOR LIFE DECISIONS on.

Not to mention,  I quit a really good mortgage job to start this venture.

Eventually..

I ran out of capital to keep even the website up.  This ended without me making even a single sale.  YIKES.

Side note:  lost a GF out of this whole equation too.  Turns out supporting a failing entrepreneur doesn’t really get the juices going.  Talk about insult meeting injury amirite.

Failure #2

R&Rhomepros.com

Oh man.

So this was a B2C lead generation model.  The idea was this.

Let’s make a helpful blog semi-plagiarizing home advisor where people submit their information after researching various home projects & their costs.  (Think replacing windows/refinishing their decks etc).  Once I have this information, I could sell it to vendors in the area that actually supply this work.  SIMPLE!  EASY MONEY!

WRONG!

when the glass broke-

Turns out...

Competing with home advisor is really really hard.  Not only that,  I couldn’t get r&rhomepros to rank nearly as high enough as I needed it to on google to get enough traffic to my website to make this idea viable.  I didn’t have the SEO expertise and had unrealistic expectations of the time it would take to make this all work.  Eventually,  I ran out of capital and the website came down.  Sad face.   Queue the violins.

WHAT I LEARNED FROM ALL OF THIS fuging FAILURE.

do not reinvent the wheel.  The easiest/least painful way to succeed is to simply emulate somebody that has experienced success,  and reverse engineer the way they did it.

If I could do it all over again,  I would’ve used the credit I had and leveraged it into purchasing a “sure thing”.  A simple model with case studies of success to back it up.  A simple model that follows these steps

  1. Product
  2. Website
  3. Traffic to website
  4. SALES!

This is as complicated as it needs to be.  This is the key to making money online... from ANYWHERE.

So.   If you want to own something...  make a ton of money and be free...   I’ve got good news!

YOU DONT HAVE TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I HAVE.  YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE STRESS AND SELF-DOUBT.  YOU DONT HAVE TO FAIL.

You don’t have to see everything fall apart around you.

I’ve already failed enough for all of us.  I promise.

I have got a solution that has been proven to help people just like you, actually succeed in a digital space to make passive income.  A solution that can get you the freedom you deserve without dealing with the pitfalls I fell into.    And I won’t charge you a dime for showing you the way.

If you’ve been searching for a solution to the same problems you’ve always had...

If you want to get your feet wet with the whole entrepreneurship hat.

talk to me first.  Inbox me and ill at least give you the insight to get you in the right direction

Always a pleasure

P.S. I like the new girlfriend a lot more than the old one.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
